Our very first Faculty & Staff Spotlight is Mrs. Vicky Holstein, one of our beloved Kindergarten teachers and a founding faculty member at our school!
Mrs. Holstein has been a teacher for 31 years, the last seven of which have been at Courtney Christian School. Her favorite thing about being a teacher is teaching kindergarteners how to read. Outside of school, she enjoys exercise, home improvements and taking care of her inside plants.
Mrs. Holstein says, “I love teaching kindergarteners Bible and showing them how much God loves them! I love that Courtney Christian School gives us the opportunity to teach our students how to develop Christian character. I love watching the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control) take root in their hearts!”
A parent of a student in Mrs. Holstein’s class had this to share: “Mrs. Holstein is a one of a kind teacher! She impacts her students tremendously. Kindergarten is such a stepping stone to education, and God has placed her exactly where she needs to be! My family and my son adore her!”
