High School - EMPOWERMENT

Dear CCS High School Families,

The countdown to a new school year is on, and we can't wait to welcome our Lions back to campus!

The beginning of a new school year is about more than class schedules and the first day of school. It's an opportunity to reconnect with friends, welcome new classmates, and set the tone for the year ahead.

We're excited to kick off the school year on Friday, August 7, with a special kickoff for our high school students and families. Students in grades 8–12 will enjoy our annual Back to School Bash, and parents are invited to join us following the student event for High School Parent Orientation.

Students will enjoy an afternoon reconnecting with friends, welcoming new classmates, competing in fun Minute to Win It challenges, winning prizes, enjoying snacks, and picking up their class schedules before the first day of school.

As part of the afternoon, we'll officially launch our high school theme for the year—EMPOWERMENT—and share the vision that will guide us throughout the school year. It's a message you won't want to miss.

Following the student event, we invite all high school parents to join us for Parent Orientation, where you'll hear from our administration, receive important information about the upcoming school year, review expectations, and have the opportunity to ask questions before the first day of school. 

Whether you're new to CCS High School or returning for another year, this is a great opportunity to connect, stay informed, and begin the school year with confidence.
