Mrs. Michele Link joined Courtney Christian School as a third grade teacher in August with more than 30 years of experience in education, most recently as an instructional coach.
Drawing on one of her most recent achievements – establishing a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and math) room at her former campus – Mrs. Link engages her third grade students using hands-on STEM bin activities.
Some of Mrs. Link’s favorite things about being a teacher include building relationships with her students in the classroom, watching the learning taking place, finding teachable moments and developing lifelong learners.
“I truly enjoy researching and learning new teaching strategies to be a more effective teacher,” said Mrs. Link.
Mrs. Link decided she wanted to be a teacher when she was just six years old. She comes from a family of educators; in fact, she and her husband have more than 60 combined years of experience in education! Outside of school, Mrs. Link enjoys reading, decorating for the holidays and spending time with her family.
