Mrs. Debbie Fussell has been a Resource teacher at Courtney Christian School since its inception eight years ago. Mrs. Fussell has more than 30 years of teaching experience as well as training through educational workshops such as Kagan and Learning Styles. She has also conducted numerous educational workshops and received the “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers” award in 2005.
“My favorite thing about being a teacher is seeing that ‘lightbulb moment’ when my students understand a new concept. Also, I love it when their confidence level increases and their whole countenance changes,” said Mrs. Fussell.
“Mrs. Fussell is incredible! She goes above and beyond in all that she does, and her instruction is multi-sensory! Her students are doing so many great things in her classroom and making so much progress,” said CCS Principal Dr. Kayla Lamonte.
Outside of CCS, Mrs. Fussell enjoys reading inspirational books and making crafts.
